Documents usually required by a bank in Spain when entering into a mortgage contract:
Sworn translation of the tax returns of natural persons and legal entities for the past 3 years, or
Sworn translation confirming income for the past 3 years as issued by an employer
In certain cases banks may require the mortgage applicant (natural person or legal entity) to prove that he/she has property in his/her own country - submit a sworn translation of an extract from the real estate cadastre (if the property is owned by a spouse that is not the applicant for the mortgage it is necessary to submit a translated marriage certificate).
- Possibly a bank reference.
